Father's Day with @illcutz

Father's Day is a meaningful celebration dedicated to the men who have played pivotal roles in our lives. This year at Yogi we celebrate Father's Day by talking to creative, Illya (@illcutz), about his Father's Day traditions and Yogi style.

As we love to travel a lot and explore we usually take a little city trip in the UK and enjoy a day out of London.

 

How do you balance your work life with parenting?

I recently went freelance so I’m a lot more flexible with my time than I used to be which means I get to do school drop-off’s and pickups as well making time allocate quality play time with my kids.

I’ve always been a bit of a night owl so i sometimes will use the evenings as time to work and complete tasks

 

What’s the most rewarding part of being a parent?

I think as parents our main goal is to guide our kids into society where they can express themselves independently and have the confidence in how they carry themselves. When you see this in action it’s a real proud moment.

Of course all the kisses and cuddles are right up there.

How do you spend your ideal day with the kids?

On the weekends we love to hit the UK coast line, and enjoy time on the beach with the kids. We all have an affinity of being close to the water, and we all get something from it in our own way.

What made you choose your Yogis?

I’m a big fan of suede leathers, so that was a big draw for me. I was also looking for something that would be a nice summer shoe to slip in and slip out of without too much fuss.

 

Q. Tell us about how you style your Yogis!

I would pair them with a loose pair of fatigues or chinos and a boxy shirt sleeve shirt for a breezy summer fit.
