All About: Stepping into Spring

It's no secret that we love our boots over here at Yogi Footwear. Unfortunately, as the weather turns and the days start to get warmer and brighter, it makes less and less sense to put on your favourite pair of suede boots. Instead, there are plenty of stylish options that don't include sweating your feet out in leather boots or rewearing the same pair of well-loved (*read: well-ready-to-throw-away*) sandals you've had for decades.

Here is our spring shoe guide with three of our favourite options.

Contemporary Trainers:

This style of shoe has the benefit of being a timeless menswear staple. They also have the added benefit of being some of the most versatile footwear out there. Throw them on with a simple t-shirt and a trusty pair of wide-leg jeans for an effortlessly put-together look. They also work well paired with a suit to dress it down a bit, especially a minimalist pair like our Rufus in White Leather. Simply put, every man should own a pair of simple, but very stylish, contemporary shoes.

Pastel:

Pastel shoes are one of the more exciting trends in footwear at this time of year. An easy trick for making pastel shoes work is to pull a colour out from your shoes and make it appear in your outfit. For example, pair our men's Lawson in Denim with a light blue t-shirt or our women's Caden in Pink (also available in men's) with a pastel pink bag.

Chukkas:



Not ready to put your boots away just yet? Neither are we. And you don't have to with our version of the Chukka boot, the Glenn in Oatmeal Suede. They are the go-to boot for when the sun is shining down. These boots give you that style upgrade through spring and well into summer. While we're always sad to see our timelessly cool winter boots go back into the closet, spring opens up a whole new world of footwear.
