Yogi Footwear AW18 Collection

Yogi Footwear's AW18 collection features the classic styles which the brand is renowned for in updated hues for the new season. Yogi Footwear is a premium brand which launched in the 1990s creating handcrafted shoes in Portugal inspired by the unconventional Earth and Roots shoes from the 1970s. The brand enjoyed a cult following as the footwear choice for discerning men who valued style and quality with celebrity fans including David Beckham, Liam and Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller. 

In 2017 the brand relaunched recreating their recessed negative heel silhouettes it was renowned for in their Heritage collection plus new styles for their Classic and Contemporary ranges. Yogi Footwear uses naturally formed lasts with soft earthy leathers and buttery suedes which are hand sewn in the workshop, eschewing superfluous detailing for a clean and minimal aesthetic.

Heritage 

The original Yogi Footwear brand was inspired by the negative heel which was born out of the musical subcultures of the 70s and 80s. The design which slants down from the toes to the heels aimed to promote good posture with the shape emulating the way feet sink into sand and thus the wearer can walk in the most natural way.  The Heritage collection relaunched with Willard Tumbled Leather Negative Heel Tan and Dark Brown plus Lennon Suede Negative Heel Olive, and are hand made in Portugal, at a specialist third generation moccasin factory. Shop the Yogi Footwear Heritage collection.

Classic

Yogi Footwear relaunched with Classic range of moccasin styles which are are hand crafted, featuring full leather, leather laces and natural crepe & vibram sole units. The Classic collection has an unlined moccasin construction which facilitates the reduction of glue in the manufacturing process. Contemporary

The Contemporary range features modern silhouettes which are juxtaposed with traditional construction methods, including soles engineered from natural crepe. Yogi’s functional and durable styles delivery comfort and authenticity in equal measure. Styles Rufus Crepe Winter Pink Nubuck, Rufus Crepe Rust Nubuck, Rufus Crepe Brown Leather.
